Land Walks, Land Talks, Land Marks will be an exhibition, forum and exploration of the complex and interconnected narratives of migration, ecology and identity in West Cork. During this residency at Uillinn William will finalise the work developed over the last year and prepare Land Marks – a wall-based ‘drawing’ comprised of plants, found / crafted objects collected during walks around the area.

The Observatory

During the residency period, William’s studio will become an observatory collecting stories and objects from the local environment. Visitors will be invited to meet the artist and share their observations, concerns and love of the local environment with the potential of donating a related object for the installation.
