Artist Talk Fiona Boniwell – Running To A Pause
12 noon Saturday 1 June 2024
Join Fiona Boniwell for a talk and presentation about the work created during her month long residency at Uillinn as part of the Bealtaine festival. Her main objective for the residency was to kickstart a new collection of drawing and performance based work examining her relationship with her body and movement; moreover, how this relationship is changing over time.
Fiona’s talk will focus on the R&D work created whilst at Uillinn. She will also talk about how the residency and space has impacted on her practice.
Bealtaine Festival is an initiative by Age & Opportunity, funded by The Arts Council and the HSE. Bealtaine is a pioneering national arts festival that fosters creativity among older people across Ireland through intergenerational collaboration, showcasing older artists, and promoting skills and experiences that can lead to a rich, creative life.
