Programme of Events

Uillinn: West Cork Arts Centre – Workspace Level 2

12 noon – ‘As We Are’ Exhibition Opening

Opening by the young people programme at Uillinn West Cork Arts Centre both dance and visual art working with artist Sylwia Migdal, and Elaine McCague Light refreshments will be served.

2 pm – 3 pm Collective Drawing Workshop with Sylwia Migdal for teenagers
A collaborative drawing and mark-making activity exploring identity, connection, and community.

Large paper sheets form a shared drawing wall where participants sketch the person to their left in three quick, expressive minutes. After each round, everyone shifts right and adds to the next portrait. As the group rotates, the drawings evolve into a layered, collaborative artwork. The activity encourages playful experimentation, shared creativity, and reflection on how identity shifts through collective making. The final piece celebrates individuality, connection, and the joy of creating together.

No booking required, come to one event or stay for all.

Cruinniú na nÓg is a national day of free creativity for children and young people under 18. Cruinniú na nÓg is a flagship initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme’s Creative Youth Plan to enable the creative potential of children and young people.

This project is proudly supported by Cork Local Creative Youth Partnership.
