At the conclusion of a week in the studio developing new material and content for The Prometheus Project, Luke and key collaborators will present a sharing of work in progress. The Prometheus Project is large scale dance theatre work comprising 7 interconnected performance installations planned for premiere in 2028. Taking the classic story of Prometheus, the god who gave fire to humans and specifically the crucial moment where Zeus took it away, Luke and his team morph and intertwine the fantasy and parable of the original myth with a contemporary world enslaved to its addiction to convenience to explore what might happen as the world prepares for the lights to go out forever.
